  1. Rogan completely fails to comprehend the value of true cognative liberty. He just shifts the manner in which the state forces you to live on their terms from one prohibition to another.

  2. You're absolutely right Joe. I'm from Calaveras County, CA. Last year many people were able to buy a permit to grow and many of those growers donated money to the local school, Bret Harte High School. They donated 20,000 to help the teachers with materials etc.. Guess what they school did?? Rejected the money and continued to complain about not having enough money.
2018 began and guess what the county did?? Voted against growing! All those growers invested money on property and equipment, now they can no longer get legally grow!! Its insane.

  3. Joe is wrong, he is obfuscating two different qualities. Cannabis has analgesic properties, yes- and there are many other drugs which are stronger at that. However that is not the reason why people have been talking about people using cannabis over opioids with opiod addiction.

Cannabis has a strong effect on the way we process priorities, including other addictions. It's been shown that mice hooked on amphetamines will choose to turn amphetamines down after exposure to cannabis, even being totally capable of receiving it.

That is not saying it can get everyone off an opiod addiction, but it is certainly preferential to do so and for those who it would work, it should be an option- and for that reason it should be part of the discussion.
