I’ve been watching Mark for about 3.5 years now. Couldn’t believe how raw yet how empathetic he interviewed his participants. Never seen anything so honest.
Would you consider stories that are uplifting, coming from terrible to surpassing challenges and coming out the other side with success. Those people that should be our heroes to the next generation.
I disagree with advertising being something that is evil and wrong. Of course it depends on the details but advertising/marketing is something we all do personally to help us get where we want good or bad. Like with most things, if it's done well and genuine and doesn't hurt anyone consciously then it's ok. I'm tired of people saying they feel so bad for being part of advertising or marketing when what they were doing was legitimate, not lying or hurting people and was in line with what the competition was doing. To me, it's part of that bs movement of 'money is evil' and how dare you want more of it. There has never been more in your face advertising and selling than there is now, including as part of all these wonderful videos and podcasts we love so much. Don't feel bad for wanting/having more. Be a good person and live clean – you deserve to reap what you sow.
I'm an ICU Nurse..I've been working since 1989. The Pandemic definitely left me with PTSD. It was the harshest thing I ever experienced. The worst part is people who literally would not believe me.. Mark's channel is so helpful. It has taught me how to understand many of my patients. I was recently in L A. and my driver drove me through Skidrow. It was so interesting to see. I recently asked a fellow nurse when our town got so many homeless drug addicts. She said it was when they closed a psych facility and put people on the street. I don't know if Mark has covered this. It's a story I'd like to see. I wish the Love I give people was enough to help them. Mark has become noticeably drained over the years. Unfortunately Love and giving things to people is not enough.
