This idea sounded fishy (pun intended), so I googled it. Turns out it's been widely criticized as infeasible. I mean, I hope he's right and the actual scientists are wrong, but he's probably wrong.

I think it’s a cool idea.
He is only one willing to clean up the oceans. No other countries have help this guy build anything. Each nation should help in cleaning up the oceans.
This ain’t a western problem so west should not pay nothing but will be pushed to by nothing but guilt this is a eastern problem but there all busy praying rite now to make any money or clean up there act so check back in another 100 or 200 years ah don’t bother on a second note that generation will be praying to the way they breed, so the planet and the animals are stuffed FACT
