The batteries are Carbon 14 from the control rods of thermal reactors. C 14 decays by releasing an electron. Your left with Nitrogen 14. Totally harmless. It's not uranium or plutonium they're using. That would be incredibly pointless and dangerous
Let us realize one thing. Concerning "NATO EXPANSION", NATO never asks a nation to join. Nations ASK NATO to join. By that very fact, NATO can not expand on it's own. Therefore, There is NO NATO expansion by and fore the sake of NATO. Countries that feel threatened or see a better security situation typically apply to join NATO. That is the ONLY way NATO enlarges.
