  1. While even some biologists say GWS attacks are cases of mistaken identity/ think we are a seal and that's why they don't consume us, I don't think that's correct, I think that in most cases other people come to the rescue or the swimmer is able to get to shore. I believe if the injured swimmer died quickly and wasn't removed from the water the GW would come back to consume, the "we don't taste good/ don't have enough fat" BS! Juvie white sharks primary food source is fish most of which is very lean meat.

  2. I got a story joe would hate! Long story short me and a friend went night surfing on the coast of Vancouver island near tofino to surf in the bioluminescence that comes up in the fall beautiful experience honestly but it was really dark and foggy and 20 feet behind me we had an orca breach and scare the living fuck out of us so we immediately paddled in to shore and since it was dark and we got out we started a fire to warm up at before making the maybe 1km walk through the bush back to our cars and at low tide bears come out to eat the washed up muscles or fish and crabs and since it was foggy and the trailhead was near these big rocks in the water I was looking out for the rocks and what I thought was a rock was a massive male black bear eating and I spooked it. So me and my friend with nothing but surfboards had to fend of this bear screaming at the top of our lungs while getting bluff charged to the point it was within hitting distance and running away again my friend used his phone which had 2% battery on it to call the park rangers to come get us which took 1 hour but lemme tell you surfing glowing waves having an orca breach right beside us then fending off a pissed off bear in the night with fog was the longest night of my life.
