SO refreshing to see Joe Rogan discussing and platforming this topic of natural foot function :~) Everyone who has grown up and lives in typical mainstream shoes & boots has essentially stunted & immaturely developed feet. I've been on a 'barefoot shoe' kick or journey for about 5 yrs now and loving the changes. I had a pair of Altra trail runners at first, now Splay sneakers (pretty minimal) and Vivobarefoot Forest boots (flexible, gnarly, all-terrain).

  2. If running is natural, why tf you need a thick and thicker cushion and still get injured? 😂
    Is only natural if you naturally do it on daily basis like at the old times.
    For most people nowadays running is not natural
    Run easy and stop when your legs tired instead of force yourself finishing certain time or distance.
    Well, Except if you are professional who make a living from it

  3. It’s obvious that heel cushioning softens impact on your knees. So you could stay fit longer and live longer in general. Not up to 30 years like humans thousands years ago
