Hunting is as much a part of human DNA as procreating is. So to call a hunter a psycho pathic serial killer is rather puzzling to me. And further, for those that are saying that they don’t have a problem with somebody hunting if they process the meat and eat it themselves, it’s none of your business either way . If you’re going to enter the conversation, take the one thing you do that you believe is most fundamental to who you are as a human being, and consider the fact that hunters feel the exact same way about hunting as you feel about whatever activity it is that you’re involved in. if you have a proclivity for hunting, then there are a few things that are more fulfilling than harvesting an animal.
of course the people driving these policy decisions are clueless about africa….they are clueless about wildlife conservation and management in america. These people outlaw whitetail hunting in their own municipality because deer are so cute and then 5 years later they wonder why their own food supply is disrupted or impacted because of lower crop yields due to the excess of deer feeding on the crops. They outlaw hunting and then have to hire privateers to come in and cull the herd and waste the meat that would otherwise feed a family of 3-4 thru the winter. Progress.
