  1. The story of Statins will be like the story of wearing gloves. A
Dr in the 1800's observed midwives wearing gloves and suggested Drs.
should wear gloves to reduce infections. He got the 1800's version of being canceled
and it was another 40 years till wearing gloves became practice.

  2. Great conversation. Just to point one thing out, the doc mentioned ethnic minorities were not taking the vaccine and the reason given for this is because they are from poorer backgrounds and therefore less likely to trust authority figures. Not agreeing with this rationale. Instead I’d argue ethnic minorities were not taking the vaccine because they take more of a holistic and intuitive approach to health and are more likely to reach for natural remedies as well as their own natural immunity. We’re talking about people who come from generations where it was practiced to grind up garlic and oil to treat colds, or make a ginger tea for flu, or take a plant cutting to treat pain. They intuitively know that the human body and lifestyle choices are more powerful than any drug and therefore they would rather trust their own bodies to heal them than an artificial chemical entity. And this is the reason why ethnic minorities did not take the vaccine.
