Doctor here. He suffered what is called a "peroneal strike". It didn't happen from a twisted ankle. He got kicked just below the knee on the outer side ( lateral side below knee joint near fibular neck, causing peroneal nerve injury), resulting in inability to evert and dorsiflex the foot. The twisted ankle was a consequence of the peroneal strike.
That’s respect bellator employees we’re hating on him. Or had a grudge for vengeance.
