Stories of the Months and Days – Book Reviews with Zen FYTube

For those examining the origin of cosmology, calendars, and the reckoning of the signs, and seasons, the pagan study of the origins of the days and months can be an invaluable resource for comprehending the larger picture of how we as a modern society came to track the passing of time. This book can aid those seeking clarity on these issues to determine why the different parts of the world follow the differing calendars and cosmologies they currently support in belief. (113 pages)

  1. Thank you! I don’t know that the full extra month Adar II (added by rabbinical Jews but not mentioned in scripture) is needed if you follow the new moon days properly (one extra feast unnumbered day on the 1st, 4th, 7th & 10th month) as established by Noah’s feasts in Jubilees 6, but my understanding is growing slowly.

Currently, I understand sabbaths to be days 7,14,21 & 28 & then the day the moon sliver is expected to be sighted is new moon eve with trumpets & offerings as soon as it’s sighted & then the month begins with a workday the next day. If you do that by observation, the quarters/4 seasons generally have 91 days each and we only lack 1.25 days to get 365. Is that extra at the head of the year?

I’m committed to the 7/14/21/28 sabbath day count because it makes all 4 Firstfruits festivals of summer (barley, wheat, wine & oil) count to match the Dead Sea Scrolls Temple Scroll 📜 perfectly! 7 COMPLETE sabbaths & a day, skipping the dark/incomplete week/days between day 28 sabbath & day 1 of the new moon, a workday. Looking forward to your new book-thank you, Zen! Shalom!
