I have 2 kids but i noticed in the schools there getting very soft. These schools need to teach kids how to compete. But they give them this treatment that they deserve everything, everyone is a winner these participant trophy.

The problem with the idea that society is competitive is that it is not competitive in the same way a sport is. In a sport, you have clearly defined goals, roles, rules, and referees. Yes, there are analogies in life or society, but understanding the goals, the rules, and who the referees are and what they can see is much less clear. Also, the distinction between the players, the coaches, the spectators, and the refs is much less clear.
