I love when other athletes talk about how tough you gotta be to do whatever fucking sport they get into. Like I’m a lifelong DIE HARD skater, and I don’t care what sport you play, NOBODY takes a beating like a skateboarder. Name any other activity, where 95% of it is slamming into concrete over and over till you finally land it. And most top tear pros are still having to work a full time job just to survive! Also theirs plenty of skaters still doing it in their fifties, like Tony Hawk broke his damn femur a few years ago. That would stop most football players from ever stepping on a field again. Short version: I was 8 years old when I watched Scarface with my dad and Scanners at a drive inn. 11 years old, my cuz introduced me to rap, and NWA and Too Short and Beastie Boys were some of his his faves, which became mine. I loved it and still do. When Ice Cube did Friday, I about lost my mind.🤣 Anything this man has done and continues to do is pure gold! He's a great, great man. I will always love Cube! 🙏💞🤗
