It's not that hard to understand Joe, an elbow is a single point where all that force behind that vectored point drive into anywhere is going to generated a far more focused point load at point of contact that can be just as deadly as a kick or a super punch.

Love how they both say how little damage it produces but then we got arm chair sport scientists going on and on about points of impact and all this… meanwhile the force you generate is minuscule compared to most strikes, but you'd know that if you actual threw the strike and not take others inexperience as mma dogma.
In this podcast Big John admits to telling the Fertitta brothers that paying fighters $1 million plus was a bad idea. He planted the seed that led to fighter pay issues that we currently hear about today. The fact he hasn't been called out on this is mind boggling.
