John jones is a cheater and always will be. He deserves zero respect.
Thing is, herb had a good point. Rules if not written verbatim. Can be misinterpreted. And like he said about litigation. Sadly I don’t blame docs not wanting to allow something that could cause them to be sued and lose their job etc
He talks about it with such passion, it shows how much he cares for the sport and loves it.
John might just be the most important man when it comes to the creation and evolution of MMA. Lorenzo and Dana just jumped on the bandwagon. Lorenzo actually almost killed MMA. He controlled NSAC in the mid nineties when all the states banned UFC and vetoed against the UFC being legal and ppv causing the original owners into bankruptcy . They desperately had to sell the UFC for pennies on the dollar. Guess who purchased the ufc? ZUFFA…which is owned by Lorenzo and his brother. They're Fucking scumbags
