This guy's argument for revealed religions is absolutely ludicrous and ridiculous. Please go read the age of reason by Thomas Payne.
Do you think Dr Meyer questioned his views on evolution after speaking with the human ape hybrid known as Joe Rogan.
This guy completely missed out during his education. This is just another example of proof that ANYONE can receive a college degree. He has no evidence.
Joe, with all due respect, you're so full of crap with your pushing of psychedelics as the causation and method behind religion. One man says he studied the Dead Sea scrolls and took psychedelics now believes Christianity is now based on the use of them while no reference in the bible to them. This is just your rationalization of religion in the world rather than by evidence and faith. Every religious conversation devolves into the taking of hallucinationgens. It's really annoying, factually inaccurate along with the physical damage these drugs do to the mind and brain of humans. Study and research what has been discovered before you jump to the easy out of drugs is the answer. Grow up a little. Much of the world has belief with no drugs but what the body naturally produces. I'm so sick of the drug angle. It's so much more deep than some drug ritual. It's sad you don't take the time to discover real faith in God….
