People are people. There is no "good" or "bad". There are only perspectives and motives. Calling someone an asshole is just a way to express your own frustration with your misalignment of perspective when you yourself are an asshole to many others.
They can't begin to call people good without appealing to a objective moral standard. Since people are flawed they are incapable of coming up with objective standard. Therefore morality is always subjective and arbitrary.
people arent good or bad these are human concepts to categorize actions without reason and actions that dont benefit the majority. for example most laws could be considered moral. children do not know anything and have to be taught to share and not hit others when they are upset and to not yell etc. one of the first things kids learn how to do on their own is to lie to get out of trouble. so you could say we are inherently evil but the problem is children are not aware of their own misdeeds they dont understand cause and effect or that being selfish can harm someone else. when they are taught this they are less likely to commit immoral actions but they still will in the heat of the moment (instinct). as you get older you realize the harsh realities of the world and when you have to support your own family you become more self centered again cus reality is the strong survive. but you still have to maintain societal standards and norms. this is the point people tell white lies and bend the rules just enough so no one notices. Most "evil" actions against someone are done passive aggressively. confrontation only happens when one is aware a misdeed has been done to them or others.
