  1. No, people are not naturally inherently good.

We have to be taught how to have manners & be polite.

We have to be taught to share and not be jealous of others.

We have to be taught not to hit or physically hurt others.

If a child is not given the correct guidance through parenting, then that child is much more likely to grow up to be a bully, abuser, rapist, criminal and or serial killer.

I believe there are more evil people in this world than genuine good people.
It's just a lot of people pretend at being good to keep up appearances

  2. People will choose advantage over "goodness", IF they perceive that there are no consequences or if the advantage outweighs the consequences.
Right and wrong are measured according to these standards. We celebrate people who cheat others – if it's a lot of money and they get away with it. If Bernie Madoff had gotten away with it, and a documentary done after he passed – people would have shown him respect for his cleverness in stealing so much – and not getting caught. But when they are caught, it's only polite to show contempt for their corruption. Given an opportunity to make millions thru children working in cobalt mines, sweat-shops, and anything that exploits workers is happily pursued, without any real attempts to correct it – because no one truly cares about anyone except those who serve our interests.
We are animals and driven by our animal instincts. But, we have created a society that makes it difficult for everyone to get away with cheating others. It's only those ENFORCED rules and laws that prevent people from attempting to cheat everyone else. Adaptation and survival are the only natural rules that we inherently follow, by any means necessary.

  3. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustice; There is no one who does good. God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of mankind To see if there is anyone who understands, Who seeks after God. Every one of them has turned aside; together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.

    Psalms 53:1‭-‬3

The only inherently good person who ever lived was Jesus Christ. He is the creator of the universe who became a man and dwelt among us 2,000 years ago.
