Why Kennedy, why is it so much easier to go to war than to work to maintain peace? Are you and those like you feel that war and bloodshed and destruction are always inevitable? Never forget that as a member of the military you are no more than a tool of the government. They couldn't give a crap about you and your welfare. Whenever the US military goes overseas it's just like a bunch of little kids going where mommy and daddy wants them to go. It's the herd mentality. Americans live in America. So why, why, why does this country have military bases overseas? How is that defending this country here, in the United States? I don't get it. Do other countries have military bases and outposts here? I'm pretty sure they don't. It is now 2024. It is time for some overdue growth and maturity.
I enlisted in 1980 and we had a brutal fatboy program. The interst level was low until the hostage crisis in Iraq. The interest level went up for a short time only. I blame video games for the obesity
