Hitler got the country going again after the nation was in tatters after WW1 but he got too big for his boots and thought he was invincible. He was winning WW2 until he decided to invade USSR that was stupid. And then there’s the holocaust. He would have been vilified eventually even if he had won, hard to keep that one a secret.
