i had an ego death a few months ago and it wasn't the best and funnest experience but i felt like i learnt a lot about myself.
I experienced my ego death last night on a mixed trip of 250 mikes and a hero of golden teacher. I was placed into a full state of altered consciousness. My perception was takes hold for at least a full hour of fully conscious thought where my ego was pulverized by a large sequence of long cylindrical gears. I felt the self fully demolish until finally I sat up after it was all over and listened to a distant drone for hours until I went to bed. As ego death is definitely not an easy thing to live through and I can feel the lasting effects, including major depersonalization in the day after, but I'm ready to grow from this and use the newfound disillusion of the ego as a new pathway towards finding my life.
