You would have to believe in evolution to believe this theory, more likely it brought upon wisdom and alternative perspectives to the already existing humans dating back to Egyptians and even before them (although less documented)

This is a very interesting topic. Most videos mislabel it as a theory, but it’s not it’s a hypothesis and it should be treated as one. This possibility is the exact reason y science is so great, u can always ask questions. It’s already been proven that mushrooms can have many mental health benefits, so is it really that far fetched that our common ancestors could’ve possibly separated themselves by a freak accident of eating mushrooms that lead to them developing a deeper path than any other similar species
