When I just thought I was on the home stretch to see what task my Lord had for me since before birth, my past reaches out and shuts me down. I know it's another trial from God for my training, but this has really physically and mentally effected me. I never will doubt my Lord, but I feel I must speak out, this is such heartache!! I've always been told I couldn't do this or I couldn't do that. At age 12 I was a drummer for a church, at 14 I stepped down due to my own convictions not in alignment with scripture. I knew people were looking to me for a character of integrity. I did not want to disappoint someone from seeking Jesus, just because they see me sin yet I'm still on the altar. I did not want that negative attention for the church. A fee yrs ago I was told I could not be a drummer, from two different churches…but he thing is, I never asked to be a drummer with either church. I told the pastors due to my convictions of homosexuality, I had felt to step down. Their response to that….,"ummm well you couldn't be a drummer here or have any leadership role." I replied I was simply informing them of my past with the church. Think for a minute…."you can't me a drummer here..", "you can't have leadership role..". And God had already appointed me a major task for him while I was yet born. The divine favor I have, is truly astonishing! I could've died in a car wrecks or over-dosed. Everytime taking a dangerous drug my Lord was right there! Assuring that no harm would touch me. I kinds went off topic but I just love telling people about His wonders, and his promises to those he's chosen.
I'm so tired of this world, I yearn to go home, Lord I yearn for home with you ❤️
