These are some things I think about: The U.S government spends billions of tax-payer money each year to subsidize/ prop up the meat and dairy industry, while only a very small fraction of that goes to vegetable and fruit production. In and of itself, that's enough to cause me to pause, because I know the government doesn't have our best interests in mind.
We don't have long term studies that show that a meat-centered diet is healthy, but we have long-term peer reviewed studies that show plant centered diets are healthy (whole food).
Then, we might wonder why there is ag gag legislation, which prohibits the recording of the meat and dairy industry practices… as though they have something to hide, which of course they do…
I think a bigger issue is so many now are so arrogant in their own narcissism that they immediately go to the mentality of "u don't do it the way I do so u must be an idiot." It's just self-righteous, ignorant, arrogance.
