  1. What has happened to the belief in the Rapture? After I was saved, by the Blood of Jesus, all I could do was look, excitingly, forward to Jesus Return! I was so excited to learn that before God's judgement falls on this wicked world, that His Word taught that He would remove His people from Earth, sparing His people of His wrath before the final Judgements on Earth. It is that great hope that many christians use to believe. Now many claim that they no longer believed in the Rapture because the man that taught and promoted the Rapture doctrine, later backslide (some claim he never was a believer).

After studying and researching God's Word without relying on any other external teaching, I still find the Rapture doctrine clearly substantiated in the Word of God. As I will try to show. It pivots on a promise found in God's Word and that is that God has not, nor will, on Earth or Eternity, appoint His children to His wrath. His wrath is reserved for the unbelieving sinners.

I have yet to find in God's Word or anyone that is able to prove otherwise. The closest anyone comes to this is by saying that believers have never been promised an escape from suffering. And I agree, that this Truth is Biblical. Jesus said Himself, "take up your cross and follow me" and through-out history this has included not only torture, but also death to christians.

There have been many tribulations of which Christian blood has been shed throughout history (at any one time) somewhere on earth. There is no preparing for these events until that moment comes that a follower must lay down their life for Jesus Christ.

But, there is coming one event that Jesus Christ, Apostle Paul, and others spoke of, called the Great Tribulation, that God’s people need not fear because God has not appointed His people to wrath. Read these scriptures that clearly prove that God's wrath is only poured out on unbelievers:

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thes 5:9

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Rom 5:9

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Eph 5:7

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. 1 Thes 1:10

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Rom 1:18

When God pours HIS wrath upon the earth, as a unified whole, He will first remove His people. (Just as He did with Noah and his family). “For then shall be Great Tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be" Mathew 24:1

God promised His people an “escape” from this time period on earth that He will be specifically judging earth’s sinful inhabitants. Else explain what “escape” He is referring to in Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to “escape” all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man”. Why are we commanded to watch and pray that we may be found “worthy” to “escape” the things that are coming upon the world? Notice the word “escape”!

Many (that claim the Rapture is a lie or a deception) also claim that believers will be unprepared to lay down their lives for Christ if there is a rapture. What nonsense, christians have been doing this since Christ died for His people. They claim that the Rapture is “escapism”. Well, God’s Word clearly calls it an “escape”. The opposite is true. When you teach that that there is no specific time coming that God is going to catch-up overcoming believers, you steal from believers that they are to be prepared. Why? Because not all believers will be be prepared for when Jesus comes in the air. Yes, there are christians that will miss the Rapture, but, they are still spared God's wrath by becoming martyrs for Jesus during the Tribulation. Only unbelievers are appointed God's wrath and why? Because they are condemned to Eternity in Hell, afterwards.

As described by Jesus in the parable of the 10 virgins. Read Matthew chapter 25. Notice that only 5 of the virgins were prepared for His coming. The other 5 were left behind.

By teaching that there is no Rapture, Lucifer is robbing God’s people of being able to prepared for Jesus’s coming (for His Bride and Wedding Party). There are some Christians who will be left behind that were found un-prepared and asleep. There is a specific time coming that God says we are to prepare for by being “alive and remaining”. Also followed by signs and woners in the heavens. How do we stay “alive” and “remain”? By walking in the Spirit and not the flesh. And by remaining steadfast in the Lord and not sleeping as “do others” described in 1 Thess 5:6 “Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober”. Read Mark 13:36 “Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping”, Romans 13:11 “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed” and “For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night”.1 Thess 5:7

The Lord likened His coming to a thief saying if the good-man of the house had “known” what hour the thief would come, he would have been prepared. Read Mathew 24:43 “But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up”.

It is a sure sign of the lateness of the hour that the rapture doctrine is being attacked and many christians are being lure asleep by those (who use to believe in the rapture) from being prepared. The Bible refers to a great deception! And that is exactly what we see happening. It is by their nebulously projecting somewhere “out there” in time, God’s return, that christians are being lead astray from being prepared. Apostle Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus clearly said that they had no need (to remind) us of when that day should come. Read 1 Thess 5:1-4 “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief”.

Noticed God’s Word, again, uses the word “escape”! Obviously there is an escape from these things coming on the world. But when you love this life, one does not want to leave it or escape.

Also read Luke 21:34; “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares”. By teaching against the rapture, believers will have unprepared hearts that will be overcharged with indulgences (lives being filled with worldly things that make them dull with sleepiness), drunkenness or hearts drunk with emotions i.e. fear, lust and even inordinate love. God's people, who have not learned to that this life, will become full of anxiety with fear of losing their possessions and fear of losing their of loved ones.

We should not be talking about having enough ammunition to save ourselves and family (during the Tribulation) but faith in God and eternal life. This is a natural carnal feeling when we love our lives instead of “hating” our lives and dying daily as God’s Word teaches we should do. Read Luke 14:26 “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple” and 1 Corth 15:31 “I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily”.

The blessed hope (as the Word of God refers to it), is the Rapture described in Titus 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”. Read also 1 Corth 15:51-52 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”.

One thing is for sure, anyone who condemns God’s word and calls it witchcraft, as some do about the Rapture, will surely be left behind to suffer the tribulation. It is one thing to say "I don't see evidence" or that one disagrees with the Rapture. That same believer can still be an overcomer and be prepared for Jesus's Coming.

There will be a coming, and a catching away of God’s people. It is my hope that those who teach against the Rapture, will see their error, repent and boldly proclaim, again, the truth in God’s Word of the rapture.”
