Joe missed the humor/irony of Schoch's remark, the sun causing a 6,000 year dark period. He hadn't done his homework prior to the interview and was unfamiliar. He'll catch it next time.
Edit to add: listening to the full interview, Joe was not aware of the Carrington Event.
People he does blink, he just blinks when you blink.
16:00 Don't forget that at one point, everything west of the Eye of Africa was under water. I think it was 200 foot deeper and 400 miles more inward. There are skeletons of sea creatures out there and the land is also more eroded. on a side note, the sea level at that time rose half way up the Central pyramid in Giza. It could have serve as a rain gauge for the tear duct of the Eye of the Sahara. The bottom of the capstone marks the rage of the Storm and the center marks the calm of the Storm. The erosion on the Sphynx enclosure could have been caused by that all draining off.
Sounds like a looney. No wonder Graham Hancock follows him.
