theories,the truth is EASier to understand.
For anyone that’s interested. There is extensive sand erosion on the sphinx. The erosion lines are tilted which matches the slope of the sand dunes nearby. There is water erosion on the enclosure. Even tho it’s a desert, it does rain and the extent of the water erosion matches what you would expect over 5000 years. We know the date of the sphinx because the temple he’s referring to is filled with statues and inscriptions dating it to the correct time period.
