3. Think about it…if you have been given the power to cast out demons which some deciples couldn't do, but still He rejects you, then were you ever saved, even if given the Holy Spirit to do it? Then what is missing? He said, 'If you love me keep my commandments.' That is all of them! Iniquity is lawlessness. What law? Without law there is chaos and then evil takes over.

   I take these verses as those who live by good deeds for their salvation. They base their salvation off what they can do and not what Jesus did for them. I think a lot of people are going to say, "We did all these good deeds for you and God." When in reality they were doing it for themselves to achieve salvation.
