I smoke morning and at night and I am a Construction Manager in charge of high-rise construction. I rock blast down to elevation and go ground up construction to 8-12 stories. I pass engineering exams high on marijuana. I am a high functioning marijuana user and there are many people like me. I smoke and read textbooks and even do math.

If you are lazy and have personal problems, when you smoke, you will be the same "you" from before. Only now you will want pizza. You should develop good solid work habits and never compromise them. Alcohol compromises me immediately. Can't read while drinking. In fact, I challenge people to smoke and try a solid read. You will remember everything you read. You will read a little slow to start, but after that first hour it is perfect. And you might just have the patience to sit and read for a longer period of time. It is like a PED for the scholar. When I'm high, I can read for 6 hours on a binge.
