Extrinsic and intrinsic motivators are like octane boosters for low grade fuel. Ego as a servant is C17 fuel. It takes a completely built engine to withstand the abuse from high grade racing fuel. Forged internals, beefy drivetrain, even brakes; to accommodate the power because big power with no brakes is a projectile. So in order to use Ego as a servant, you need to first be aware of the ego, aware of empathy and humility, aware that you simply cannot succeed without ego because there is always someone else uses their ego as a servant while you aren't and they'll win. They'll achieve what you want. They'll get the girl, the car, the boat, the house, the physic of your dreams. Just because they know how to use their ego for consistent action. Telling your little b** voice in your head to stfu because its on your time, not IT. What the sarg says, goes. The moment you give in and feel defeated or depressed, this is you giving your little voice power. The little b** voice begging for comfort and cheetos, and play the Notebook 15 times in a row. The Ego says grab your junk and get your a** to the gym RIGHT NOW. wtf is wrong with you? Wave the flag of go all in. But then don't complain when you beg for a change, for the house, the cars, the relations. Quit listening to that little b** voice and be a man.
I think people like seeing what they can do i think thats a healthy relationship with ego. If thats what it is. Its very humbling to see wow Renee (myself) i dudnt know you /I could do that.
