I lived in north georgia it's a small town called rescan. In the fall the canosauga River turns clear and green it's very beutifull ….but in the sumer time the shallow water that's been warmed by the sun attracts the gar and yes the babies are 1-2 ft the full size …if you ever see a full sized thst is they get huge there carp but really long but with teeth for carnivor…they are dinosaur
