Mynah birds fucked with my big dog. My do was lying down and a mynah landed on fence next to my dog and bird screamed. All the time mynah would get close. Reminded me of tip toeing. Birds on California islands know how to open up backpack zippers.
That's not unusual in the animal world, male lions eat their offspring. Ravens and Crows and Magpies are from the species (Corvids) and they are as intelligent as a seven year old child. and there are some of them that can speak words. it's totally amazing some of the things they can do? there are videos of Crows instigating fights between cats. and then enjoying watching the fight. they have more awareness than most any other animal on the planet.
It almost looked like the raven was trying to knock the cats off a high spot to possibly end them? Wouldn't this be the only way a bird could hope to hunt a dangerous thing like a cat?
