My dad at 87 on his last day in hospital said im leaving today , dont hold me back, im not coming back. I held his hand and told him to head for the light surrounded by my siblings and my mum as he took his last breath. Amazing experience, but my goodness i miss him and the opportunity for his wisdom.
Thank you, Kevin & Joe. I heard this episode a year or two ago, and now with my Dad in intensive care with little chance of recovery, Kevin's explanation here came to mind. The way he explained it does help. I hope his mother's experience is the way it goes.
Death is d 1 constant of life that we cannot avoid or change no matter how much we desperately want 2. It is something that we must all endure at a point in our lives unfortunately! Death is not something 2 fear, but at d same time u can't help being terrified of. I love and miss my dad very much, my best friend!
