We need to study Colossians 2 as a whole to get the full picture and also look at the Greek. Paul is not dealing with Judaizing but asceticism (look up the word if you don't know what it means). Colossians 2:16 is actually the strongest New Testament evidence we have not for just Sabbath-keeping but observance of the holy days and the New Moon. Paul says not to let anyone judge us for festive eating and drinking on those days, but apostate Christianity has twisted it around to mean the exact opposite. But it cannot be.
For one thing, there is only one annual Shabbat listed in Leviticus 23: the 10th of the seventh month. Secondly, the Greek word in Col. 2:16 should not be translated to 'Sabbath days' but to 'Sabbath' (singular). Throughout the Greek Scriptures, the plural Greek form is put for singular, including many obvious times when the meaning is Sabbath (singular).
Colossians 2 deserves a much more thorough study than we have given it. The theme is not about what was nailed to the cross but on the body of the MESSIAH which we are to partake of, and which festive eating and drinking at the trio of worship days is a shadow of. The allegorical handwriting nailed to the cross was the bond of debt we owe for our sins. GOD has nailed none of His Holy Torah Law to the cross; it still remains in the Word of GOD. The entire Torah was placed with the Ark representing the everlasting covenant.
Colossians 2:16 shows that the apostolic Assembly was observing the holy day, New Moon, Sabbath trio and Paul admonished the Colossians to not let anyone judge them for celebrating these times. Genesis 1:14, Psalm 104:19, and Isaiah 66:23 indicate the eternal nature of these times. But if we are KJV only and do not consult the original Greek, we will continue to be confounded. GOD gave us electronic resources for study at just the time that we need them to receive this precious light.

But remember Jesus says to "go into all the world teaching the ten commandments and you shall not celebrate His birth, death, resurrection or the new Everlasting covenant". The coma is in the wrong place, I'm sure.
