no one needs to go back to the 1800s to ban books that have the n word. start with todays rap music that is filled with the n word. stop being double standard hypocrites. not to mention the same trash music that has the n word also has filthy comments about women, but there is silence and more hypocrisy

Jesus Christ Rogan is a fucking moron. It's "Bre'r", as in racist white people thought black folks couldn't say "Brother". So it's basically the turn of the century version of Jive talking 1970's crows. For the same reason those jive talking crows are racist, so is this. It's not like, nuclear level racist, but it depicts black people in servitude and with uneducated attitudes because of the low status society forced on them.
This is not hard, Rogan. If you don't understand it you have no business commenting on it.
