The reason there are skeptics about climate change is because since the 70s we have been fed a stream of dire predictions that have not materialized.
By 1990 Florida will be underwater, by 2010 life expectancy will drop to 50 years due to a poor atmosphere, by 2020 , st. Louis will be a coastal city, etc..
There has been a non-stop stream of doom predictions that don't come true and it has made climate changes look like the cults who say the rapture is coming every year and it never does.
Perhaps if they kept their predictions a bit more modest and realistic, they would have more credibility. I'm not arguing for or against, this is just a neutral observation.
Well I agree that the potential consequences for climate change do justify that serious consideration should be given to strategies formed around combating such an issue.
When climate change makes the middle east uninhabitable and all the muslims that live there cant stay, we will be dealing with the largest refugee crisis the word has ever seen. I thought you right wingers hated the muslims immagrating and integrating with our wester society?
