Regarding electric cars, in hurricane prone areas like South Texas and South Louisiana evacuations are occasionally ordered, putting hundreds of thousands of motorists in bumper to bumper traffic. It can take 12 hours to go 100 miles. Would a fully charged electric vehicle require a re-charge in those scenarios?
