Of course they want to be seen. Maybe they just aren't ready to meet us. More likely that we aren't ready to meet them and they know it. You can't just argue that there's no reason for these lights. There are probably thousands of reasons. It isn't the same for every sighting, anyway. Some land in people's backyards. It might not be just some far away glow that you can barely make out. I see this argument all the time and can't figure out why people think that aliens would immediately walk right up to us as soon as they got here. They'd probably want to do a bit of recon before revealing themselves to protect us AND them.
This is all antictodal but I think the idea behind UFOs making lights is that the light you see if an effect of their behavior or propultion or something. I don't think they have lights mounted on them. And I think they don't care if we see them. It'd be like humans trying to hide from mice that we have tech.

Aliens are inter dimensional beings. They don't live on other planets, they live in the blackness that is the field.
I'm not big on ufo's but Joe Rogan has been ruined by he's old tv show by interviewing probably the worst of the people that claim to have seen ufos and he's became pompous and way to know it all. There is weird shit out there and to automatically claim its bs is pretty close minded
