It seems that a lot of people are worried about automation, and if there are going to be jobs for low-IQ people in the future. This doesn't seem like that big of a concern for me since technology seems to be automating cognitive labor in much the same way that machines automated physical labor centuries ago. As technology lowers the cognitive barrier to entry in many fields, more and more jobs will become accessible to those who previously did not have the means to perform it.
This should in part alleviate some of the concerns when it comes to automation in fields such as transportation, warehousing, agriculture, and warehousing.
I wonder how long it will take for humankind to understand that we have become insects.
