  1. I don't agree. Knee kicks should be illegal because those can relatively easy fuck up someone's life as knee has very complex structure even for the Joints and often surgery just won't be adviced because risk of fucking you up more is greater then fixing it
I think knee locks are ok because it gives you time to tap so if you ending up with broken knee it's the problem of your pride, you should tap. But Knee kicks are too fast therefore too dangerous. Joe said it gives advantage for a smaller Guys.. first of all you don't even have to kick the knee I don't agree. Eddie hall literally got kicked in the tight by nine years old boy and he felt it. Second….what kind of advantage it gives to the smaller dude in the fighting sport where there are weight classes?

  2. If knee kicks are legal, then groin kicks should also be allowed as according to their logic " as it allows a smaller/weaker guy to hurt the bigger/stronger guy". Look, I am open to having UFC with no rules and geared towards more street fights, but to view a knee kick not as good or as "dirty" as a groin kick is just ignorance. Like the groin kick, it is hard to protect against a knee kick unless you're in a stance that prevents it (like how a bladed stance prevents a non-telegraphic groin-front kick). And no, a bladed stance doesn't make you more susceptible to knee kicks, unless you already have your front knee pre-extended (like how a boxer does when the boxer tries to reach his/her opponent) which then does leave you vulnerable to all kinds of leg kicks.

For street fighting, that is why Bruce Lee preferred a bladed stance (more like a boxing stance) than a square stance (more like a Muay Thai stance), even though he viewed both knee and groin kicks as both valid tactics for street fighting, as the bladed stance can easily prevent a front groin kick and at the same time with the bladed stance you can use footwork to evade a side kick to the knee. If you praise the Muay Thai square stance as being the anti-kicking stance, let's see how well the Muay Thai square stance fares against a front-groin kick or how well Muay Thai does, once you start allowing groin kicks in UFC.

  3. i dont actually think that knee kicks should be allowed. i did say otherwise just a few months ago but man, it just puts our fav fighters out for a year and we have to see some fucking aljo fight. we dont need the knee kick, calf kicks are already enough and great.
