The only hangup i had from this conversation was the way Firas used the word faith. Faith is believing something without evidence. Science is entirely based on evidence. Every hypothesis is based off the best evidence currently available. Saying science uses faith that the future will match the past seems like a language flaw. Science uses the evidence to prove the evidence over and over again until there is new evidence to change that. There is no belief, its just “this is what it is until it isnt that.”
What a moron, it’s like his whole debate won’t exist without science.
This dude is only repeating some guru he believes in, Joe is open to all aspects and makes much more sense.
