Joe : when isaac Newton lived, well whenever fuck he lived hahaha 😂😂😂
This is one of the worst interview moments ive seen of Joe Rogan, he took the first minute of his argument and used that to judge the whole hour of conversation. He continued to believe Firas wasnt smart enough to say anything meaningful or believable
Joe failed this discussion he kept challenging perfectly illustrated points. Dude he showed you 5x that woo exist in science. So stfu with your woo qualifiers. Joe just keeps moving the goal post in this convo.
Frustrating that Joe doesn't seem to understand his points, but very interesting collection of views nonetheless.
The conversation seems scattered because Firas is discussing the Philosophy of Science, while Joe is approaching it strictly from a scientific standpoint. It's evident that Joe hasn't studied the philosophy of science, which is a specific field. Although Firas mentioned his reference to the philosophy of science, he could have been clearer or more direct. Without prior knowledge of the philosophy of science, one might not understand the context. Joe interpreted Firas's points as confusion about science, but in reality, Firas was presenting a philosophy of science viewpoint.
I've noticed this when discussing the philosophy of science with friends, they often assume I'm merely referring to philosophy and science as separate entities. It's essential to clarify that it is, in fact, a distinct field. If they lack prior knowledge, directing them to the Wikipedia page or other resouces and revisiting the topic next year is advisable; there's little point in going into it when someone is unfamiliar with the subject.
