  1. The brain of the psychedelic user is close to identical with control group accurate psychics in studies, one of the sites that shows and describes the results of the fmri is down unfortunately, but I found it before it went down, and I'd really love to contact MAPS and have them compare the two control groups so it's a properly combined study, but psychedelics are to ME personally like if an insanely powerful psychic took drugs, visually speaking, the activity, or lack thereof is exact in the primary places that go dormant and go active, and the alpha brainwaves in one study said it correlated with 50> accuracy. on psychedelics the alpha state oscillates in and out quite strongly, so it's similar on both fronts in that regard.

People who don't want to even CONSIDER the scientific possibility that this could be actual psychic communication between you and something else outside this 'simulation' are just simply afraid, and would rather not look, because like Joe said… it's untenable to their existence, and that would actually really scare them to find this possibility and really conceptualize the strangeness and unknowingness that is this thing called EXISTENCE, nor can they do anything with it, but that's not a reason enough to say to hell with it. Quantum physics is an example of science and existentialism meeting.

I really think people who don't understand how much we will never know isn't science oriented, or TOO science oriented rather, there IS a middle ground with science that all scientists wish they could operate in. science has gone through this exact issue with psychics that are proven to be accurate in studies decades ago in the 60s, they dropped it because it's simply a rabbit hole that goes far too deeply to be definitive, so they leave it to quantum theory, nor provable, and that's a scary thing to understand, that this machine called reality has moving parts beyond the observed shell of the vehicle, and that's a very scary notion to many, and we aren't meant to, nor built to understand it, either by coincidence or by design (dun dun dun)

To me, is God conscious? is something genuinely debatable, not psychics, not psychedelics, not quantum physics, these things are just symptoms of a truth we don't want to face as a species, as an organism in this trepidation called existence, how are we here, and what happens when we cease to be.

I DON'T WANT TO KNOW EITHER sometimes, but it's unscientific to deny any possibility no matter how preposterous when trying to see underneath the hood of the vehicle known as existence. (life itself)

And there is no explanation why psychedelics specifically tell us or show us the things we get shown, and like the question of "are we meant to not conceptualize existence by design or by coincidence" the same question can be asked for the psychedelic experience, it sure seems linked to the question of existential understanding, and it sure as hell is a question worth asking because this SHOULD not be possible, and the fact we don't understand it still pharmacologically says a lot.

In simple terms, I think psychedelics are the universe peaking through our brain and science wondering how the pesky thing got in there.

Science keeps its mouth shut about its collective personal opinion and tries to explain it in a way that cannot be… and yet the question is no more difficult than why does existence exist, beyond some materialistic explanation, it's impossible to answer, because there are things we aren't meant to understand, it's almost like something planned for this to be this way.
