…will listen to every word of Jesus for they come from the Father (John 12:48–50). They are no longer blind to God's word but the truth has been revealed to them by His Holy Spirit (John 14:26). We know without doubt Jesus came to testify of the Father and to finish His work (John 4:34). We believe when Jesus said to the Father “you are the only true God” (John 17:3), or that the Father has given him life (John 5:26). Loving the Father is receiving all Jesus said to us and to do so without changing his word in any way or agreeing with things of the world (e.g., claiming Jesus Is God and blaspheming the Father). We only listen to the words of Jesus, not by picking random verses to prove Jesus is God.
