Just had a bad trip yesterday after eating 10mgs worth of THC. Thankfully compared to everybody else's, it was very mild. At first it started out normal, spacing out while feeling my parts of brain shut down; then my face began to feel weird, it would bulging in places before going back to normal only to start up again in different spots of my face. Afterwards I felt two waves from opposite side of my forehead moving to the center before crashing into one another then receding back down. It was at that point that I realized I must've taken too much and should've stuck with 5 mgs, so I decided to lie down in my bed and just let the TV distract me as I rode this out. But it still wasn't done yet, I felt what felt like a snake under the skin slithering for the bottom of chin, going around my lip, in between my nose and cheek, around my eye socket, then up to scalp before finally disappearing; all while feeling the top of my lip and cheek being pinched together. I had to feel my face to make sure everything was where it was suppose to be and confirm that none of this was actually happening.
Thankfully, it was at this point afterwards that I was through the worst of it and for the next hour I had, what could be best described as an 'after image' feel; when I turn my head or shift my body around, I can still feel the motion of movement for a few more seconds after I've settled down. And during the whole thing I was also going through queasiness border lining on nausea, I thought I was going to end up running to the bathroom, but nothing actually happened.
It was right around the 5th hour mark that things finally felt 'normal' again; what got me through this experience was reminding myself that I'm just going through a bad trip and that none of this was actually real. Needless to say I won't be touching edibles again for a while and when I do, to stick with 5mgs, if not less.
So yeah, lesson learned: KNOW THY LIMITS!

If your trip was bad, it means you didnt let go of your ego and panicked.
