There have been two mass shootings in Australia since the ban making a total of 15 ever in that country. The ban had zero effect except to increase increasingly violent home invasions… though burglary (no one home) is down. 🙈🙉🙊
Why? The answer is in Jungian psychology.
simple solution to weapons problem: change the law in such way that having an unregistered or illegaly owned weapon automaticaly puts you on trial for maximum punishment available in that state. life in prison without parole or the chair. there are MANY outlaws out there with weapons but i am 100% sure 70% of them done or plan to do illegal things that are punished under 20 years of prison with posibility of early release.make having a weapon worse than the actualy deeds they are up to.you will see many of them getting rid of the weapons or not using weapons in an illegal activity that would bring them to 5-10-15 years of jail.they will think:oh we gonna rob that bank.we get out with 1 million or more dollars or 5-10 years of jail.OH NO SIR you had a weapon that is not legal to be owned by you.forget about the bank robbing.you are going straight to the chair.sorry" I know it sounds harsh,but that model could be succesfull .you can for example allow people to have smaller arms like some 0.22 or smthing or gas gun or rubber bullet gun.i mean, WHY the fuck should a citizen have guns that are used by special forces and military and shit.like combat rifles and shit.wtf is wrong with u america. ok, i get it ,you need self defence and sometimes fists are not enough.get a fuckin gas pistol, iritating gas spray,rubber bullet gun.those are MUCH less lethal and belive me, you wont be able to do mass shootings with those more than you can do a mass fight in some bar.You are a fighter Joe,you know how much damage fists and kicks can do.if you were anywere close near an iritating spray or rubber bulet gun,you also know how good that is.Having gun in almost every home wont help anyone and barely helped anyone ever.most of peoples that have guns will chicken out instead of using it.make the punishments maximum for guns and i am 100% sure u will see a dramatic drop in infractions done with a weapon for sure.
