In the May, 1982 issue of Hustler, Nugent ADMITS to dodging the draft. It can be found online if you know where to look. The exact quote is: "Before I went down to the draft board for my pre-induction physical, I snorted some crystal methedrine — the most concentrated form of speed. It makes your heart pump like crazy. Although I wouldn't recommend that for others, it worked for me. I wound up being classified 4-F." That is a word-for-word transcription.
