my mother left my dad, cus he had a drinking problem and at one time raised his hands to her, they both remarried made new families, and my dad changed his life around and he reconnected with me he truly cares and loves me and I know he wants to be a part of my life, but i'm at times indifferent, I know he means well and I'm happy to talk to him but i'm not motivated to reach out more and communicate with him. I want to talk with him more and be an active person but I tend to keep to myself and seldom open up, I have no vises, I quit smoking cold turkey, I rarely drink, I work am responsible but for some reason I shun human contact, even though I want to be sociable. I need help?
