some totally misinformed statements … 1. why should betting on a future price of ANYTHING be illegal? How is it different from betting on a football game? 2. Saying that Goldman (as much as I hate them) is front running his trade is dumb … do you actually realise what size of a transaction you need to have to move the market so that anyone would be interested to front run you (which is actually illegal)? There are MANY dodgy things that should be addressed about the stock and derivatives markets but these arguments are amateurish at best. As a genuinely curious guy Joe needs to ask a true expert about it …
