Exactly! Men and women are different.
One time this girl was telling me about when she was living in Japan and got her ass grabbed by a man in a park. I said "Damn, you must have been terrified." Then, I told her about a time I got my ass grabbed on a crowded subway in Tokyo by a woman (didn't know who it was). Her response: she laughed and said "Good for you!"
joe rogan is wrong. it would be equally harmless in two muscular men did this exact thing to a female reporter. not all men are rapists and shouldn't be feared and judged as such. the issue is whether the person is comfortable with it or not. most female reporters wouldn't be comfortable with random men sneaking up at them from the side and kissing them, so men take that into consideration and choose to avoid those situations.
How far do we extend these allowances to women? It's OK if they kiss a dude against his wishes. What about if they touch is junk against his wishes? What about if they force him in to sex? Kill him? How far do extend these allowances to women? I can tell you, as a bouncer, it's not particularly fun having a bunch of wasted some touch me in a sexual manner every night. I have a partner, I am a dad. I don't want women touching me without my permission. As for a kiss on the cheek, yeah well dude, I know where those lips have just been 5 minutes before the woman tried to plant them on mu cheek. I'm none to fond of contracting hepatitis.
Women can do it, but not men, ok got it.
Not a double standard at all. Joe is so dismissive, it's like he doesn't really believe women CAN sexually assault men.
Its called double standards…. these gynocentrics just don't seem to understand
