I have tried to find in the Bible more information regarding Joseph and Mary, but there's not much only that they are desendants of David. Can't find anything about the age or previous marriage of Joseph.
Mary was indeed a model mother, NOT perfect but as close to it as we might expect. God makes no mistake. He is the best evaluator of human character and chose Mary to entrust His Son to for nurturing and training. She was a highly spiritual person; an extremely devout woman whom The Heavenly Father used to bless the ENTIRE world through the birthing and training of the WORLD'S REDEEMER. But at some point she died as is the lot of mankind. There is no BIBLICAL record of her being resurrected, appearing to anyone, and no reference to her as a CoRedeemer as many are taught to believe.
